What is Positive Posters? Established in March this year, 'Positive Posters promotes positive thought in places that need it most.'
Each call for entry is accompanied with a 'theme', and entrants are encouraged to think about the 'theme' conceptually and try to relate it to positivity and global social change.
"The first 'theme' is...![]()
Don’t be afraid of change. Change can be positive. While there are some things that are changing for the worst at the moment, we think that there is always room for changes that achieve a positive outcome."
"The entries will be viewed and voted on by a panel of leading creatives from Australia. The judging panel will assess entries based on the strength of the visual impact, the message that is delivered and how strongly the entry represents and expresses the chosen topic. 10 posters from each theme (30 in total) will be short-listed and will form an exhibition at the end of the quarter. All of the short-listed entries will be notified via email prior to the exhibition.
Exhibition attendees will be able to vote for their favorite poster. The winner will be the poster that obtains the majority of the public vote from the exhibition. Positive Posters will contact the all short-listed entries and notify them of the result and winner. The winner will also be posted on the Positive Posters website. In the event, that 2 or more posters obtain equal numbers of votes, the printing and distribution of these posters will be split."
